I have recently been playing with the footage from my 13th May event, just need to arrange the edit and put the music to it. I have also been trying to build up the courage to do a talk to camera to explain why I am doing this fundraising and how I feel about the journey. I have no event scheduled for June so I will have to make do with a practice to increase my confidence on the bike. July should be a fun month with a team event I took part in last year. Yesterday’s activity has caught up with me now I have slept and the adrenaline has gone. Found a rider in the pits yesterday who had Scoliosis. I will see if I can get him to write a bit how he copes with the condition.
Interesting event at the track today. Managed to get 2 +1 points from 5 rides, would have been 6 but we ran out of time. I had problems with my clutch and chain today, this bike is proving to have lots of teething problems this season.
On a more sombre note, sad to hear Lee Richardson (Lakeside Hammers rider) lost his life while racing in Poland today. RIP Lee!
